At SCH Site Services, we take pride in the long-standing partnerships we’ve built, and our collaboration with Robertson Construction Group is a perfect example of this.
Our journey with Robertson began in 2012, when we worked together on a project in Wallsend. This was our first job with them, and it marked the start of what has grown into a solid and trusted partnership. Four years later, we were called on again to help with a major project at Sedgefield College. For this, we constructed the steel structure for a brand-new building, using around 50-60 tons of steel—demonstrating the scale and expertise required for such a project.

Over the years, we’ve worked on several more high-profile projects with Robertson, including “Essity” and “Houghton’s Tesco and Home Bargains” structures. Our collaborative efforts with all the teams that make up Robertson Construction Group have been key in ensuring the success of projects.
Most recently, Andrew Coleman, who was recently promoted from Operations Director to Business Development Director, highlighted a proud achievement during the recently attended awards ceremony where we were nominated for The Excellence Through Collaboration Award.

He highlighted that SCH Site Services has built all of Robertson’s steelwork projects in the Northeast in recent years. This realisation was a significant and proud moment for us, showcasing the strength of our partnership and the trust Robertson places in our work.
We are typically the second contractor on larger jobs, which demonstrates our reliability and ability to work well alongside other teams to deliver top results.

Some years ago, we were also honoured to win the Regional Health and Safety Award, a recognition of our commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards on site.
At SCH Site Services, our relationship with Robertson Construction Group continues to grow, and we look forward to many more successful collaborations in the future.
