SCH Site Services is proud to have delivered the structural steelwork for a brand-new Scania Trucks maintenance facility in Teesside, a site purpose-built to support the ongoing servicing, repair, and inspection of Scania’s heavy goods vehicles.

Working in partnership with Lindum Construction, this specialist facility is a strategic investment in the region’s commercial transport infrastructure, offering improved support for Scania’s logistics and fleet operations.

Our Role

As the steelwork contractor for the project, SCH Site Services was responsible for delivering a 200-tonne structural steel package, the backbone of the new facility.

Designed to accommodate large vehicle movements and workshop operations, the structure required:

· Wide internal spans for unobstructed HGV access and workflow.

· Precision steel installation to support the building’s specialist fit-out.

· Coordination with Lindum Construction to ensure smooth progression from fabrication to completion.

· Our team managed the detailing, fabrication, and on-site installation, ensuring that every element met the demands of a busy, high-load working environment.

With Scania’s operational needs at the core of the design, the end result is a robust, high-functioning facility that reflects the quality and performance associated with both the Scania and SCH Site Services names.
