A difficult and challenging project where steel meets concrete
The new 48-cell police custody and investigation suite in County Durham. Durham Constabulary has built a £21m two-storey centre opposite Stanley Black and Decker on the commercial business quarter of DurhamGate, near Spennymoor. The suite will become the force’s main custody facility, with existing suites in Bishop Auckland, Darlington, Durham City and Peterlee closing.
