Bishop Auckland Leisure Centre Starts Taking Shape
At around 350 tonnes, the steelwork will form the core of a leisure centre designed for long-term use by the local community.

Work is moving forward well at Bishop Auckland Leisure Centre, where SCH Site Services is delivering the structural steelwork for the new build.
With the package now close to full fabrication, steel is already arriving on site and erection is underway. That shift matters because this is the point where the project starts to become visible. What has been resolved in drawings and prepared in the workshop is now turning into the frame of a new public facility.
At around 350 tonnes, the steelwork will form the core of a leisure centre designed for long-term use by the local community. For SCH, the priority is making sure the work carried out before steel leaves the workshop shows up in the right way on site, helping the build move forward with confidence as the frame goes up.
AT SCH, WE PROVIDE A PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY SERVICE, WORKING WITH YOU FROM THE START TO FINISH OF YOUR PROJECT.
