General Labourer/ Maintenance Operative
Job description:
The role holder will be expected to carry out a range of various tasks within the paint bay and logistics area.
That role holder is required to:
• Work safely and within the guidance set out by the business at all times
• Achieve high standards of work at all times
• Follow the current practices already within this area
General tasks within the factory:
• General Housekeeping within factory premises
• Working in conjunction with Production Foreman to carry out any general duties within the factory
• Moving steel around the factory and premises with the use overhead crane or fork trucks or bogie system
• To keep your working areas safe, clean and tidy at all times
• Carry out daily checks on slings and chains
• Carry our daily crane checks
• Take rubbish out
• Keeping the external areas safe, clean and tidy
• Any other ad hoc duties which you may be asked to carry out
