Job description:

Contracts Assistant
Full Time – 38 hours per week
Salary TBC
• To work alongside the Contracts Managers and provide administrative support to their role.
• Attend all contract related meetings alongside another representative from SCH and compile detailed and accurate minutes of all discussions.
• Regular communication with Contract Managers on the progress of project works.
• All general administration work within the Contracts Department and completing the tasks given my management within a set timeframe.
• The Management of and checking of all financial applications associated to the contract.
• Liaising with other departments and external contractors on paperwork / financial queries.
• To assist with raising the invoices for the submission value using Sage.
• Signing off sub-contract invoices.
• Ensuring that supporting documents such as authorisation forms, RAMS, insurance documents, training records etc are organised and given to the relevant Main Contractors as and when required.
• Standard scanning / naming of all files in line with company procedures..
• Raising purchase orders as required.
• Raising and closing off any contract related NCRS

Experience required:

An interest in steelwork and construction


Good GCSE and A levels results, BTEC level 3 in buildings and environement or a degree
